Native copper is a form of copper ore used in making copper and bronze. Native copper veins are a rusty brown color. The rocks are gray with orange spots.

Obtaining Edit

Native copper spawns as small rocks on the surface, indicating a vein somewhere below.

Native copper veins are large in size and can be found in the igneous extrusive layers of stone:

  • Andesite
  • Basalt
  • Dacite
  • Rhyolite

Native copper veins can also be found in the top half of the top layer of stone.

Using Edit

Native copper ore can be smelted in a pit kiln or crucible to produce copper. Native copper is used as an ingredient in bronze alloys.
